Celebrating Indian Entrepreneurs
Hurun India and IDFC First Bank partnered to spotlight India's most impactful entrepreneurs through a multi-episode video series. Each episode features the top 10 entrepreneurs in a specific category — from the youngest founders to the trailblazing women, the oldest visionaries, and more. Our task: to give these stories life through a unique visual identity that would remain consistent, yet adaptable, across the series.
At the heart of this project lies a deep-rooted idea: every groundbreaking business model of today has an echo in the past. Our design philosophy tapped into this continuity, drawing powerful parallels between modern entrepreneurial innovation and India’s timeless traditions.
We delved into the visual language of ancient cave art, folk paintings, and mural storytelling — not as decoration, but as a conceptual lens. Each entrepreneur’s story was interpreted through symbolic visual allegories, tying their modern breakthroughs to ancestral practices of trade, collaboration, and innovation.
To build these connections meaningfully, we leveraged AI-powered visual mapping — intelligently generating motifs and compositions that link, for example, contemporary logistics to ancient delivery systems, fintech solutions to village-based lending circles, and barter economies, hyperlocal networking apps to community spaces and co-working models in early Indian societies.
This wasn’t just visual storytelling — it was cultural time-travel, framed by motion design and informed by machine learning. The result: a design language that is both cognitively resonant and aesthetically rooted, celebrating India’s entrepreneurial spirit as something deeply embedded in its artistic and historical DNA.
